Turning Point of Tampa is seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with addiction and mental health challenges. Available Full-Time Schedule:

• Thursday–Saturday, 9:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m.

• An additional $2.00 per hour shift differential is paid for all overnight hours worked

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to clients, focusing on daily living skills, social skills, and emotional regulation

• Assist with behavioral interventions and crisis management while ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, psychiatrists, and nurses, to implement individualized treatment plans

• Participate in activities such as recreation therapy, educational programs, and community outings to promote client engagement and socialization

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress and services provided

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field, such as psychology or social work, preferred

• Ability to work Thursday–Saturday from 9:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m., including holidays as scheduled

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Experience working in a mental or behavioral health environment preferred

• Experience with the 12-Step program required

• Must have an acceptable driving record and successfully complete a background check
