Equipment Assembler

Equipment AssemblerWe are looking for a skilled Equipment Assembler with hands-on mechanical and welding experience to join our growing team. This role is responsible for assembling, fitting, and modifying commercial truck equipment including utility bodies, cranes, hydraulics, and liftgates.If you enjoy working with your hands, reading blueprints, and seeing your work roll out the door fully assembled—this is the role for you.Key Responsibilities:Assemble and install truck bodies, equipment, and accessories on chassisPerform welding and basic fabrication work as neededMount and align hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical componentsRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructionsInspect completed work for accuracy and qualitySafely operate tools including grinders, plasma cutters, and torque wrenchesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:1–3 years experience in mechanical assembly or welding (preferred)Basic hydraulic and electrical understanding a plusAbility to read blueprints or schematicsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in various positions throughout the shiftHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training a plusWhy Join Custom Truck One Source?We Power the People That Strengthen Our Nation's Infrastructure.
