Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Salesperson role based in Melville, NY. The Salesperson will identify and qualify prospective SME clients, conduct discovery meetings, and present tailored alternative financing solutions that address each client’s specific needs. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, conducting outreach through calls, emails, and in‑person meetings, and preparing proposals in coordination with internal finance and underwriting teams. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, tracking market trends in alternative finance, and regularly reporting on sales activity and performance. The Salesperson will collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing support. Qualifications Demonstrated success in consultative sales, business development, or relationship management, preferably within financial services or B2B environments. Strong skills in client communication, negotiation and presenting complex financial concepts in clear, accessible language. Ability to manage a structured sales process, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing new business. Comfort working with financial information, basic credit concepts, and understanding SME funding needs. High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to non‑discriminatory, client‑focused service. Self‑directed work style with strong time management, organization and follow‑through skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, email). Prior experience in alternative finance, commercial lending, or SME advisory is a plus.
