Agricultural/Commercial Lender PositionWe are seeking an experienced Agricultural/Commercial Lender to join our lending team. This role combines expertise in agricultural finance with commercial lending, providing tailored financial solutions to farmers, agribusinesses, and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive in developing relationships, evaluating credit risk, and supporting the growth of our clients' businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, manage, and grow lending relationships with agricultural and commercial customersAnalyze financial statements, credit data, and collateral to evaluate loan applicationsStructure loan packages that meet clients' needs while adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirementsProvide expert guidance on loan products, credit options, and repayment termsMonitor loan portfolio performance and work proactively to mitigate risksCollaborate with credit analysts and underwriting teams to prepare comprehensive credit proposalsParticipate in community and industry events to build networks and promote lending servicesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of agricultural, commercial, and economic market trendsQualifications & SkillsMinimum [X] years of experience in agricultural and/or commercial lendingStrong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting, and loan structuringBachelor's degree in Agricultural Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferredSolid knowledge of agricultural production and commercial business operationsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamCommitment to providing outstanding customer service and building lasting client relationshipsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based incentivesComprehensive benefits package including [health, dental, retirement, etc.]Professional development and career advancement opportunitiesSupportive workplace culture with a focus on employee retentionOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in the local agricultural and business community
