Learn more about us on our YouTube Channel or Blog Posts We are seeking a Lead Product Designer who can elevate HighLevel's product experiences through exceptional craft, product judgment, systems thinking and influence. You have spent 7+ years designing complex digital products and are ready to shape strategically important work across one or more product areas. As a lead individual contributor, you will partner deeply with product and engineering leaders, researchers, data partners and other designers to define and improve strategically important experiences across the HighLevel platform. You will connect customer needs, business goals, technical constraints and long-term product strategy to clear, useful and highly polished product design while mentoring designers and raising quality across teams. We expect candidates at this level to demonstrate exceptional visual and interaction design judgment, strong systems thinking and the ability to raise quality through direction, critique and mentorship. You should care deeply about the standards that make product experiences feel refined, trustworthy and coherent at scale. Experience designing B2B SaaS, platform, CRM, workflow-heavy or SMB software experiences is highly valuable. Experience using AI-powered tools for exploration, prototyping, critique, synthesis or workflow acceleration is expected. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. Lead design strategy and execution for one or more product areas, translating customer needs, business goals and technical constraints into clear experience direction Partner with product and engineering leaders, researchers, data partners and designers to define product vision, prioritize opportunities and align teams around high-quality outcomes Use qualitative and quantitative insight to influence priorities, clarify tradeoffs and improve outcomes Lead complex discovery and design work through ambiguity with clarity, speed and craft Design and refine creation, transaction, automation, review, publishing and configuration workflows, including edge cases and failure states Drive quality reviews and set standards for usability, accessibility, interaction quality, visual consistency and design-system alignment Mentor designers, improve critique, strengthen shared patterns and make design standards easier to adopt Define and socialize measures of design quality and impact, including usability, accessibility, task success, adoption, retention or customer satisfaction Collaborate effectively across US and India time zones in a 100% remote environment 7+ years of relevant product design experience, including sustained leadership, mentorship or design direction across complex digital product work An exceptionally strong portfolio that demonstrates product judgment, systems thinking, customer empathy, high-quality execution, measurable product impact and leadership beyond individual execution Proven experience leading product design across the full lifecycle, including research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, content design and usability testing Exceptional visual and interaction design craft, with deep care for hierarchy, layout, typography, grids, spacing, motion, usability, accessibility and product quality Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns and scalable product experience decisions Experience designing complex creation, commerce, communications, publishing or automation workflows where clarity, trust and error prevention matter Experience designing AI-driven or intelligent interfaces and collaborating with data, automation or platform teams Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to work fluently with product managers, engineers, researchers, data partners, senior stakeholders and other designers Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas, lead critiques and workshops and persuade through rationale, evidence and craft Experience influencing design direction for high-impact product areas, systems or platforms and improving the standards, tools and practices teams use You raise the bar for craft, visual sophistication and product quality across the teams around you You move comfortably between product strategy, customer insight, systems thinking and hands-on design execution You balance speed, detail, scalability and quality without losing sight of the customer You build trust through warmth, candor, accountability and genuine respect for your teammates as people You enjoy leading collaboration across time zones and cultural contexts, including with US- and India-based teammates You communicate in ways that help distributed teams work with clarity, care, trust and momentum You advocate for accessibility, inclusion and ethical design The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
