Human Resources Assistant

Gill Staffing is a locally owned market leader in employment services in West Michigan. For more than 30 years, we've been making good things happen for other people – our employees and our clients. We are seeking an administrative assistant for our Grand Rapids, MI office. In this role, you will be responsible for: General administrative tasks, answering phones, greeting visitors, maintaining and ordering office supplies, support HR team, etc. Generate a variety or reports, weekly and monthly. Maintain employment records and reports. Assisting Payroll Department Ensure all data is collected, updated and reported properly. Create a positive experience for applicants and employees. Provide support for employee engagement events. Build strong working relationships with team members. To be successful in this role you must have a passion for helping people, have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, possess excellent follow-through skills, be self-motivated and enjoy a challenge.
