Radiology - X-ray Tech

Rad Tech General ImagingThis position is for a Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Imaging. The facility includes three x-ray rooms. The typical patient caseload includes neonates in the NICU, geriatrics, and trauma cases. Applicants should be familiar with working in an electronic medical record (EMR) system. Experience in OR cases, urology, and orthopedics is preferred. On nights, the technologist will primarily handle emergency department patients. It is expected that the individual will assist other modalities within the department as needed. Radiologists are available via secure communication after hours. Radiologists are present on-site during daytime hours from Monday to Friday. Imaging assistants are available, but the x-ray technologist will transport their own patients. There is support from a manager or supervisor during daytime shifts. During night shifts, there will be one CT tech and one sonographer present. House supervisors and various medical teams are available 24/7. The equipment used includes Canon and Fuji x-ray units, as well as an OEC c-arm. The schedule may include weekend rotations and holiday expectations. Staff members are expected to wear professional attire without graphics, logos, or designs.
