Quality Control

Position Title: Quality Control

Wage: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 7:00am-3:45pm; 3:45pm-1:30am

QPS Employment Group has a great Quality Control position available at a company in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Quality Control Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Inspect raw materials and ingredients to ensure product quality and wholesomeness.

- Monitor and document product weights, temperatures, and production data.

- Verify metal detector functionality and other food safety controls.

- Perform quality checks on finished products, packaging, and labeling.

- Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, USDA, and company food safety procedures.

- Complete QA audits, inspections, and required documentation accurately.

- Assist with product validations, shelf-life studies, and process improvement projects.

- Support third-party and internal audit preparation activities.

- Work closely with production supervisors and management to resolve quality concerns and non-conformances.

- Maintain sanitation and safety standards throughout the facility.

Quality Control Requirements:

- 1 year QA, food manufacturing, or production experience required.

- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, USDA, and food safety regulations required.

- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

- Ability to work in cold manufacturing environments and around production equipment.

- Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and working in fast-paced production settings.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Basic computer and data entry skills preferred.

- May require lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
