As a Residential Support Specialist, you'll be a vital part of that missionproviding compassionate, person-centered care in a supportive home environment. What You Will Do: Personalized Support: Develop and implement individualized care plans that reflect each resident's unique needs, goals, and preferences. Daily Living Assistance: Help residents with essential daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and household responsibilitiesencouraging independence every step of the way. Behavioral Support: Collaborate with the care team to implement positive behavioral strategies, creating a calm and respectful living environment. Community Engagement: Organize and participate in recreational outings, social events, and community activities to foster inclusion and connection. Team Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, therapists, and fellow support staff to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to care. Share observations and updates to support each resident's progress.
