This role is focused on intellectual property transactions, with a particular emphasis on life sciences. The work includes collaboration, partnering, licensing, university license, clinical trial, material transfer, and commercialization agreements, along with broader technology transactions work across innovation-driven sectors. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate collaboration, partnering, and licensing agreements. Assist with foundational agreements for life sciences companies, including university licenses, clinical trial agreements, and material transfer agreements. Advise clients on corporate partnerships, strategic alliances, licensing agreements, and product research, development, and commercialization matters. Support life sciences and general technology clients on IP and commercial strategy. Assist in developing and implementing intellectual property strategies for companies in life sciences and other innovation-driven sectors. Research and analyze technologies across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, digital health, fintech, AI, IT, edtech, renewable energy, AR/VR, and cybersecurity. Advise on IP and technology aspects of venture capital financings, public offerings, and M&A transactions. Work directly with experienced advisors, clients, and cross-functional deal teams. About You 3 years of legal experience in intellectual property transactions. Life sciences technology transactions experience required. Interest in maintaining a life sciences focus while expanding into broader technology transactions work. Experience with licensing, collaboration, partnering, clinical trial, material transfer, university license, or commercialization agreements preferred. Interest in AI, fintech, renewable energy, cybersecurity, digital health, healthcare transactions, and other cutting-edge sectors. Excellent research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. J.D. required. Life sciences-related education is a plus. Admission to the bar in the state of the office where resident.
