CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

$1146.21/week - Job Summary: Provide compassionate and efficient patient care in a long-term care setting. Assist with daily activities and clinical tasks to support patient well-being and safety. Responsibilities: Assist patients with ambulation, feeding, turning, and repositioning to promote comfort and prevent pressure injuries. Perform routine patient hygiene such as bed baths, oral care, skin care, and perineal care, maintaining infection control standards. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and temperature, ensuring accurate documentation. Assist with urinary and stool incontinence care, catheter care, and specimen collection for diagnostic purposes. Use patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts, transfer belts, and wheelchairs to facilitate safe patient movement. Follow infection control procedures, including donning/removing PPE, and maintain equipment and supply stock. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in a clinical long-term care setting. NY State CNA license required and active at the time of submit. Proven ability to perform a broad range of patient care duties, including hygiene, transfers, and vital sign monitoring. Experience with electronic health records, particularly EPIC, is highly preferred. Demonstrated understanding of infection control, isolation precautions, and patient safety protocols. Ability to work flexible shifts, including every other weekend, with willingness to float as needed.
