Billing Specialist We’re looking for a Billing Specialist who wants their work to mean something—someone who brings accuracy, accountability, and purpose to the reimbursement process that supports patient access to care. Why This Role Matters Billing accuracy and timeliness are essential to keeping patients on therapy and ensuring care teams can focus on what matters most— the patient. The Billing Specialist plays a critical role in verifying reimbursement data, submitting clean claims, and resolving payments appropriately. In this role, you’ll contribute to work that: Help patients maintain uninterrupted access to infusion therapy Support clinicians and operations teams through reliable revenue‑cycle execution Ensure compliance with payer contracts and reimbursement standards Strengthen a patient‑first, clinician‑led organization focused on outcomes Behind every successful infusion is a billing process that works—and this role helps make that happen. What You’ll Do In this role, you will: Prepare and submit insurance claims for home infusion services, including medications, nursing, and supplies Process electronic pharmacy claims to Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans Verify that all prescription reimbursement data is complete, accurate, and entered timely prior to weekly and month‑end close Confirm documentation aligns with billed services, codes, and expected reimbursement Review payments received and apply them accurately to patient accounts through final resolution Maintain a strong understanding of payer contracts, coverage criteria, and reimbursement guidelines Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies with professionalism and clarity Stay current on billing regulations, coding guidelines, and payer requirements Work with clearinghouses and billing systems to support clean claims and efficient workflows Assist with data entry, administrative, and clerical billing tasks as needed What We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you bring: Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking A customer‑service mindset paired with financial accuracy Clear written and verbal communication skills Ownership and care in work that directly affects patient access Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical billing and collections Experience providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Five (5) or more years of medical billing and collections experience Prior home infusion therapy billing experience Experience with CareTend, CPR+, or similar billing systems You don’t need to check every box—we care just as much about how you approach your work as what’s on your resume. Pay Range / Rate $25 – $27 USD per hour.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, or sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee may also be required occasionally to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
