Sr. Radiology Billing Specialist

Overview Sr. Radiology Billing Specialist at Upstate Medical University Responsibilities Follow up on medical claims, including claim submissions, investigating patient accounts, resolving denials, and fielding all incoming correspondence. Answer incoming phone calls from patients pertaining to billing, insurance, and payments. Qualifications 2-3 years Medical Billing Experience; Radiology experience preferred. Strong follow-up skills. Insurance knowledge. Payment experience. EPIC Knowledge is a plus. Team player with the ability to work on their own. High School diploma or equivalent with two years of clerical support in a medical billing setting; will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
