Job Description

Looking to make a difference in the lives of students with severe disabilities? This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) passionate about supporting school-aged children and youth. You'll deliver evidence-based therapy, collaborate with school staff, and track student progress in a professional and supportive environment. This role is perfect for someone comfortable with a diverse caseload and interested in a long-term commitment through June 2027.

What Youll Need:

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (no COTAs considered)
Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy, ideally with severe/profound disabilities
Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
Background in collecting data, completing progress monitoring, writing IEPs, conducting evaluations, and producing summaries
Experience working with students with autism and behavioral challenges
Excellent time management and communication skills
Reliable transportation and willingness to commute as required
Ability to pass a drug screen and fingerprint/background check

Duties Include:

Providing occupational therapy services for a caseload of 35-40 students across varied grade levels
Developing, implementing, and monitoring therapy plans and IEP goals
Documenting therapy sessions, progress notes, and evaluation summaries
Reviewing IEPs written by COTAs as needed
Collaborating with school staff and parents to support student success
Ensuring consistent punctuality and clear communication in all interactions
