Outpatient Pharmacy Technician III performs a full range of duties in a retail pharmacy setting and able to perform all general tasks in all areas of the pharmacy. They will assist the pharmacist in preparation of medications for patient use according to established procedures; facilitates in the distribution of medications including delivery of medications to the patient's bedside (Med-2-Bed program); performs computer order entry, record keeping, and billing functions; maintains inventory levels; and performs other duties as assigned. Will perform assigned operational duties in a scheduled area and will assist pharmacists in completing medication orders and related distribution duties in different pharmacy areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of Five (5) years of retail pharmacy experience is required.
• Experience in project management/system responsibility (e.g. Pyxis, narcotic control, QI, or pharmacy buyer/biller/analyst); OR is a Pharmacy School graduate; OR expanded responsibilities over several areas OR possess a Pharmacy Intern License.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Meds To Beds Program or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience with medication ordering and inventory management or equivalent.
• 340b regulatory knowledge and background.
• Comfortable with public speaking and able to promote a justifiable position.
• Flexible to address any pharmacy need that may arise, especially those that are unexpected or sudden.

• Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Annual Full Pay Range: $67,756 - $84,209 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $32.45 - $40.33
