Job Summary: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the RN contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process. Responsibilities include promoting evidence-based practice, assessing patient status, developing individualized care plans, implementing appropriate interventions, evaluating patient progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN demonstrates professional accountability, technical knowledge, and a commitment to patient and staff safety while fostering professional development and teamwork.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years of applicable experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, comprehending, and speaking English
• Basic computer knowledge (word processing, spreadsheet, email, web browser)
• Multicultural sensitivity
• Critical thinking skills with independent judgment in decision-making
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Illinois state RN license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
