Manufacturing Accountant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enters invoices into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Schedules, processes, and records payments to suppliers. Works closely with internal staff to resolve issues while observing confidentiality. Responsible for weekly management & reconciliation of company credit cards. Processes customer invoices & cash receipts. Performs weekly inventory reconciliations & assists with year‑end physical counts. Assists with month‑end closings & account reconciliations. Assists with bank reconciliations. Assists with external audit requests. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Experience in a manufacturing or job‑costing environment strongly preferred. Experience with month‑end close, reconciliations, & financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis). Microsoft Office software and Windows operating system. Familiarity with fixed assets, depreciation, cost accounting concepts, & EBITDA. Ability to work with large data sets & perform detailed reconciliations. Understanding of internal controls & audit processes. Familiarity with federal contractor requirements preferred. Ability to thrive in a changing, fast‑paced growing and dynamic business. Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
