Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery in Marysville, California. Start date: 08/10/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,415–$2,577 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to obstetric and newborn patients using the nursing process; develop and implement a plan of care aligned with medical plans and patient input.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as ordered, and respond to changes in condition or emergencies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and other care team members to coordinate delivery of care; participate in rounds, charting, and care conferences.
- Incorporate teaching, discharge planning, and patient education into the overall plan of care for patients and families.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to eligible nursing staff (including CNAs) according to current clinical competence and scope of practice; ensure supervision and accountability.
- Document care accurately, maintain patient safety and infection control standards, and support continuous quality improvement efforts.

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for 8 weeks
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication and patient- and family-centered care skills
