FULL TIME San Juan, PR, San Juan, PR, PR 3 days ago Requisition ID: 2288 Salary: $50,000.00 Annually Job Description We are seeking a Sales Manager with a strong commercial focus, proven leadership skills, and experience in the tourism industry to lead our sales strategy. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with clients and business partners, leading the sales team, and ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability goals. Key Responsibilities Design and implement the agency’s commercial and sales strategy. Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team. Establish sales objectives, performance indicators, and action plans. Oversee the sales pipeline, quotations, and customer follow-up processes. Identify new business opportunities within the leisure, corporate, and group travel segments. Develop relationships with key clients, corporations, tour operators, hotels, airlines, and other strategic partners. Negotiate rates, commercial agreements, and terms with suppliers. Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities. Coordinate campaigns and promotional initiatives with the marketing team. Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance presentations. Ensure an excellent customer experience throughout the entire sales process. Represent the agency at trade shows, industry events, and networking activities. Ensure compliance with profit margins, commercial policies, and quality standards. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry. Previous experience leading commercial or sales teams. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong knowledge of tourism products, destinations, vacation packages, and travel services. Proficiency in CRM tools, reservation systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Availability to travel and participate in activities outside regular business hours when required.
