This role helps ensure high quality baked goods, maintains sanitation standards, supports special orders and events, and promotes effective teamwork throughout the bakery. Why Join Us? Responsibilities Meet daily with Bakery Manager(s) to review priorities and assignments. Complete work orders for the bakery, bakery outlets, special orders, and events. Clean and sanitize work areas after each task. Follow all established sanitation and food safety standards. Prepare products according to standardized recipes to ensure quality and consistency. Work closely and cooperatively with all bakery team members. Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully in both verbal and written formats. Maintain flexibility in scheduling and assist with special events as needed. Adhere to all infectious disease and organizational safety protocols. Training and Support Food Service Sanitation Certification/Certified Food Protection Manager training required. Allergen Certification from an ANSI-accredited organization required. Ongoing opportunities to improve baking and food service skills through specialized training. Schedule Flexible hours and days based on operational needs. Availability for special events as required. Pay $24 per hour Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of experience as a baker. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others. Food Service Sanitation Certification/Certified Food Protection Manager training. Allergen Certification from an ANSI-accredited organization. Skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to accurately determine portions and measurements from recipes. Ability to prepare baked items in large quantities. Willingness to participate in training and continuous skill development.
