The Catering Coordinator will directly receive, and prepare catering orders for clients, ensuring the accuracy of orders. An individual in the role will also be responsible for overseeing and orchestrating timely off-premises delivery of food orders to catering clients. This person will be required to work cross functionally on items such as data management, aggregation, reporting, menu coordination, vendor management, and operations support./ppWhat Youll Do :/pulliMenu coordination for vendors and in-house websites with validation of pricing, descriptions, and photos./liliCatering Portal management and coordination to be current always as well as supporting sales team with requests and challenges./liliVendor management including reporting, tracking, communication, and subject matter expert for each vendor./liliBe responsible for the entire guest experience/liliUphold food safety and quality standards/liliAbility to cross train across the restaurant to ensure rapid growth/liliOccasionally assist with delivery of orders as assigned/liliAssist with any additional duties assigned/li/ulpThe Skills:/pulliMust be able to effectively ask fact-finding questions both in person and via phone to uncover potential from all customers./liliAbility to work and lead effectively with high degree of autonomy/liliMust have excellent time management and priority management skills/liliHigh attention to detail; exemplary written and verbal communication skills/liliMust be highly motivated to success with passion and a sense of urgency. Previous experience in a similar position or in the restaurant business is helpful but not required./liliProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliMust be able to bend and reach overhead often/liliMust possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment/liliMust be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold/liliMust be comfortable working near open flames/liliMay be required to work in tight spaces/liliMust maintain near constant communication with multiple people/liliClose vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision is required/liliMust be able to sit, squat and kneel occasionally/liliMust be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner/liliMay be required to occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions/li/ulpBenefits at CAVA?
