Job Title: Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology

Location: Shreveport, LA

Pay: $80/hr

Shifts: 7AM-3:30PM (Monday-Friday)

Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Echo Tech in the specialty of Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Shreveport, LA. This role involves working in a clinical environment, performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures to support cardiovascular evaluations and treatments.

Key Responsibilities of the Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology

Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echocardiograms, and other cardiac ultrasound procedures as per physician orders
Apply knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology to obtain diagnostic-quality images
Ensure proper documentation and labeling of studies in accordance with departmental and accreditation standards
Work independently on assignments with general guidance
Exercise independent judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate imaging approaches
Adhere to established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., IAC, ASE)
Participate in routine equipment maintenance and quality control procedures
Interface primarily with internal clinical staff and patients in a customer service-oriented manner

Requirements of the Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology

Graduate of an accredited echocardiogram, cardiovascular sonography, or equivalent program required
1-3 years of echocardiography experience preferred
One of the following registrations is required: Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI, Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT
BLS required
OR/intraoperative TEE experience
