Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical abilities, pain levels, and functional limitations.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique challenges and rehabilitation goals, using independent judgment and clinical expertise.
• Perform hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and appropriate modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain continuous communication with patients and their families, providing updates on progress, home exercise programs, and any modifications to treatment plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance the therapeutic process and address any multidisciplinary needs of the patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will guide individuals of various ages who require rehabilitation to regain strength, mobility, and overall functionality. You will play a critical role in empowering patients through education and support, ensuring they understand their treatment pathways and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy, specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation or related fields.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with patients and effectively manage their care.

Compensation and Benefits
