CDS Application and Collaboration Specialist

Position Overview We are seeking a forward-thinking Collaboration Tools and Data Services Professional to administer, enhance, and deliver enterprise collaboration technologies for secure environments. This role will enable productivity, streamline workflows, and foster collaboration across high‑security domains. Responsibilities Administer and optimize collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Mattermost, Sentris, and email systems to meet user needs and adhere to security requirements. Develop and deliver training materials, documentation, and user support to maximize adoption and effective use of collaboration tools. Identify and implement new features, workflows, and capabilities to improve productivity and streamline collaboration across programs. Maintain daily operation and availability of collaboration platforms, ensuring minimal disruptions and high performance. Partner with cross‑functional teams including engineering, cybersecurity, and program management to align tools and services with program objectives. Analyze and report on platform usage, performance, and trends to guide continuous improvement and decision‑making. Work with cybersecurity teams to maintain compliance with RTX operational standards and ensure secure collaboration environments. Qualifications — Must Have Minimum 3 years of experience with collaboration tools, enterprise platforms, or related technologies. Security+ certification. Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (TS/SCI with active polygraph) required prior to start date. University degree or equivalent experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of related experience. Qualifications — Preferred Experience with emerging collaboration technologies and cloud‑based solutions. Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. Strong analytical skills to track and report on platform usage, performance, and areas for improvement. Knowledge of ITIL best practices and service delivery frameworks. Familiarity with automation tools for improving platform efficiency. Travel Requirements Up to 15% travel as needed. Location Onsite role located in Richardson, TX. Remote work is not supported for this position. Benefits Competitive salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
