The successful candidate will be responsible for all clinical matters related to drug management, strategic pharma, and the Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee initiatives. This leadership position involves motivating and leading the pharmacy team, ensuring the highest standards of efficacy, toxicity, and cost for drug management, and serving as a subject matter expert on all pharmacy-related issues. The VP, Pharmacy Services will also be involved in the strategic development and standardization of all pharmacy services, as well as overseeing the clinical evaluation of all drugs in the context of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee. Applicants for the VP, Pharmacy Services role at the company should have a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree, with a preference for those who are Board Certified Oncology Pharmacists. A minimum of 10 years' experience in both oncology and specialty pharmacy is required, along with a proven track record in pharmacy operations within the oncology field. Essential competencies include expert knowledge of cancer medications, infusion reimbursement, and payer landscape, as well as strong skills in negotiation, project management, and strategic planning. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and people management skills, and the ability to ensure the highest regulatory and accreditation standards in specialty pharmacy practices. The VP will also be expected to collaborate with various teams to monitor adherence to the company's pathway regimens and strategic pharma initiatives.
