As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to help lead our Cary Division. Job Description and Requirements Crew & Field Operations Management Manage crews and supervisors Schedule daily routes and project timelines Ensure jobs are completed on time and to quality standards Conduct site inspections and quality control checks Purchase and coordinate materials (plants, mulch, irrigation supplies, etc.) Manage and triage schedule adjustments (due to weather, other contractors and obstacles) Hire, train, and supervise field employees Conduct performance reviews Enforce safety procedures and company policies Manage attendance, productivity, and labor efficiency Resolve crew conflicts and operational issues Client & Customer Management Meet with clients and attend multi-contractor coordination meetings Address and resolve complaints and service concerns Ensure contract obligations are fulfilled Upsell additional services (enhancements, irrigation, seasonal color, hardscaping) Maintain strong customer relationships Prevent scope creep and communicate project changes Scheduling & Logistics Plan crew assignments and equipment usage Optimize routes and labor allocation Coordinate deliveries and subcontractors Track job progress and completion status Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, obstacles, bottlenecks and problems with preemptive solutions Develop contingency plans that reduce labor and material waste and pivot in response to shifting requirements Use software (MS Office, Aspire, etc.) to identify, track and manage work Monitor labor costs and job profitability Assist with estimating and budgeting Approve timesheets, time off and payroll inputs Track materials and equipment expenses Help manage operational KPIs Equipment & Fleet Oversight Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records Maintain verified and accurate equipment roster Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA and landscaping safety standards Conduct safety meetings and incident reporting Observe crews and correct unsafe practices Ensure all staff are issued and utilize proper PPE #J-18808-Ljbffr
