Job ID: 24279630Reference Number: 24-01169Title: Data ManagementPosted Date: 2024-11-20Company: HAN Staffing Title: Data Management SME (Sr role)Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid role 3 days a week) local candidates preffered.JD:Role 1 : Data Management SME (Sr role)Help modernize Allied World's data engineering capabilities by building state-of-the-art data marketplace, where Allied World's all critical data and analytics assets effectively and efficiently managed.Key ResponsibilitiesConsolidates existing technologies, find opportunities to optimize current data operationsDefine next-generation data architecture and design patterns to meet Allied World's growing data and analytics needsBuild modern data repository where we can bring in all our critical data assets togetherBuild efficient data pipeline where we could integrate both internal and external data assets much faster for the analysisBuild strong engineering practices around data Ingestion, Organization, Analysis and Consumption layersPartner with other IT products, CISO, Infrastructure, Operations and EA teams, and bring them together in ensuring solutions being rolled out are integrated, secured, data centric and globally supportedProfessional Experience / Qualifications:10+ years of experience in leading data engineering teams for global organizationHands-on and demonstrated experience in building strong data pipeline, data warehouse, data lake, data hub solutionsDemonstrated experience in migrating from traditional ETL/Data Warehouse capabilities into modern data and analytics platformsStrong experience in leading modern cloud-based data platform capabilities i.e. AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.,Strong experience in building and managing team of data architects, data engineers, data analysts both FTE and ConsultantsGreat track record in partnering with multiple technology solution providers both onsite and offshoreExcellent leadership, team building, and management skills, including a track record of coaching and mentoring a top-tier engineering teamStrong communication skills both written and verbal, with ability to communicate or convey results/outcomes to audience at all levelsAbility to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and business environment.Good to have – Insurance domain experience.
