Responsibilities The Phlebotomist is responsible for accurately collecting and processing appropriate patient samples for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This role involves working with psychiatric patients within a behavioral health setting, ensuring timely and appropriate care, and maintaining patient expectations and confidentiality. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education: High School Diploma Experience: 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred. Experience with psychiatric patients strongly preferred. Licensure / Certification: Certification in Phlebotomy required. Competencies Ability to consistently meet and manage patient expectations.
