Work independently and take initiatives to meet production deadlines and KPI's.The Amada press brake operator is responsible for bending, seating, flanging, and top flanging material to the specifications contained within work orders and production drawings in such a manner as to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, lean and production goals. Work independently and take initiatives to meet production deadlines and KPI's. (70%)Set up machine for required operation (bending, flanging, seating, top flanging) and manufacture parts according to prints and work orders. (20%)Perform quality inspections to drawings and specifications per procedures and communicate with department leadership regarding issues and improvements. (10%)Desired Skills and ExperienceIf you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.Work EnvironmentThe job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.TravelThis job requires 0% domestic travel.Work Status & LocationThis full-time, non-exempt, Union position is located in Stockton, CA. This is a Swing shift position (3:45pm - 12:15am).
