What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Barista prepares coffee tea and other beverages while creating a warm and efficient experience for every guest. This role takes orders answers menu questions maintains a clean and inviting Marketplace and works with the team to deliver consistent service during both quiet and busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and take orders with accuracy and courtesy.
• Prepare espresso drinks brewed coffee tea and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Help guests choose beverages and food items including answering ingredient and allergen questions using approved information.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle payments accurately.
• Restock ingredients cups and supplies; monitor product quality and freshness.
• Clean and maintain beverage equipment counters displays and guest areas.
• Follow food safety sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
• Communicate order delays guest needs and supply concerns to the team.
• Support opening closing and shift handoff tasks.
• Resolve routine guest concerns with care and involve a supervisor when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous barista café restaurant or guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to learn beverage recipes and use coffee equipment safely.
• Strong communication attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay organized and welcoming in a fast-paced setting.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to meet applicable food handler requirements.

Physical Requirements

This role involves standing for extended periods frequent movement and handling café supplies and equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential duties of the position.
