Human Resources Generalist – Payroll & Benefits | Direct Hire | $80,000 | 35-Hour Work Week
A respected, well-established organization in the Mobile, AL area is hiring an HR Generalist with strong Payroll and Benefits experience. Direct hire, $80,000 salary, and a 35-hour work week — a great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional ready for a stable, mission-driven employer.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll laws
- Administer employee benefits and serve as liaison with brokers/carriers
- Reconcile monthly benefits billing and support onboarding/termination processing
- Assist with FMLA, Paid Parental Leave, and disability/life insurance claims
- Support Workers' Compensation program administration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 5-7 years of payroll and benefits administration experience
- Proficiency in Excel and Paylocity
- Valid Alabama Driver's License and auto insurance
- Must sign a Standard of Behavior statement
