We operate with a lean, creative, and fast-moving team where ideas can quickly turn into campaigns, content, partnerships, and customer experiences. About the Role We’re looking for a creative, organized, and internet-native Social Media Marketing Assistant to support social media research, content planning, creator partnerships, and day-to-day marketing coordination across our brands. Working closely with management, you’ll help bring brand and campaign direction to life by gathering references, contributing content ideas, organizing calendars and briefs, coordinating deliverables, and tracking performance. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone with strong aesthetic judgment, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Management will provide strategic direction, guidance, and feedback as you build your skills and take on greater responsibility. This is not primarily a hands-on content creator role, but you should understand how social content is made and be comfortable helping with basic production tasks when needed. Responsibilities Research social trends, competitors, audiences, creators, and communities, and organize relevant findings and references. Support monthly campaign and content planning by contributing ideas based on management direction. Help prepare moodboards, reference decks, and creative briefs using provided guidance and templates. Check submitted content against approved briefs and brand guidelines, flag missing elements, and help track requested revisions. Research potential creators, influencers, brands, and community partners, and maintain organized contact lists. Maintain content calendars, project trackers, and asset folders, and follow up on deadlines, deliverables, and approvals. Assist with partnership outreach, follow-ups, product seeding, and deliverable tracking using approved messaging and processes. Compile weekly and monthly social media metrics and highlight noticeable changes, audience feedback, and content that performs well. Collect and organize UGC, customer reviews, and brand mentions, and contribute ideas for audience participation. Help with basic content creation, shoot preparation, and other marketing projects as needed. Requirements 0-2 years of experience in social media marketing, brand marketing, influencer marketing, or a related field. Internships or personal projects are welcome. Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, short-form content, creators, and social trends. A good eye for visual quality, branding, and content that fits a brand’s audience. Basic comfort with spreadsheets and social media metrics. Ability to research a topic and organize findings into clear, useful documents or presentations. Clear written communication and strong attention to detail. Familiarity with Canva, Google Slides, or similar tools. Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple assigned tasks. Willingness to ask questions, apply feedback, and learn through hands-on work. Nice to Have Experience supporting a brand’s social media accounts or a content calendar. Exposure to influencer outreach, UGC, product seeding, or community engagement. Interest in DTC, e-commerce, lifestyle, fashion, design, or consumer brands. Basic photography, video production, or short-form editing skills. Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp.
