RN - NICU

NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30). Weekend shifts required, typically every other weekend, but may exceed to accommodate unit needs.

The NICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting, managing complex cases and supporting families during critical moments. This role requires strong clinical skills in neonatal care, including managing respiratory support and recognizing signs of distress in neonates.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate families on infant care and health concerns.
• Perform necessary clinical procedures, including IV management and respiratory support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a NICU setting.
• Current BCLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• California RN license must be in hand prior to start.
