About the Position

Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:00) Experience: 2 years preferred License: Valid State license in hand at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PharmD, RPh Must-Have: - Two years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred. - BLS and ACLS certifications. - PharmD and RPh credentials required. - Kansas state license required at the time of submission. Description: We are seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist for day shifts. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Shift times may vary. Candidates must have BLS, ACLS, PharmD, and RPh credentials in hand at the time of submission. Experience with anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, and inpatient care is preferred. Knowledge of pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing is essential. Familiarity with sterile technique and therapeutic medication monitoring is required. Candidates should have experience with IV push medications and warfarin dosing. The ideal applicant will be able to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Patient demographic includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily patient census is approximately 100. Travelers may be expected to float to similar units as necessary. Brief orientation will be provided on the unit. Additional support services include IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.
