Senior Human Resources Manager

CIRCOR International

Human Resources Manager Key leader managing the human infrastructure at Warren Pumps and Portland Valves, integrating expertise in Union relations to ensure business effectiveness through a full range of Human Resource capabilities. Position Summary Responsible for talent sourcing and selection to SG&A level; associate relations including union labor relations; management of retiring associate process, conflict avoidance and resolution; organizational development; onboarding and retention; HR data accuracy and reporting; compensation, rewards and recognition; training program development and delivery; benefit management; organizational communications; and health, safety and workers‑compensation program support. Key Responsibilities Work with local leaders to identify and bridge talent gaps. Participate in the design of HR programs and processes and tailor them for local implementation. Represent and explain the interests and concerns of Warren‑based leaders to internal and external stakeholders. Gain support for long‑term initiatives required by various parts of CFX/CFH. Act as a trusted advisor to all levels on people engagement. Serve as primary liaison between the local business and Union representatives, fostering amicable relations. Lead resolution of concerns/issues before reaching grievance level and manage open‑position processes for union bids. Accept grievances, develop action plans, and communicate steps for resolution. Provide HR leadership in meetings and bargaining. Attract, select and hire best talent; maintain internal talent pools, benchmarks, and pipelines. Support supervisors and associates with communications, training and coaching on HR policies. Conduct investigations for complaints or conflicts and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate employee data, manage payroll‑timecard reconciliation, and produce required reports. Develop and deliver training programs in areas such as interview, conflict resolution, and performance discussions. Identify HR process gaps, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement. Candidate Profile Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency in designing and implementing fundamental HR programs, pay planning, performance management, claims and audits, and maintaining positive relations. Experience with organizational and change management and project‑management methodology. Knowledge of employment‑law requirements (EEO/AAP, COBRA, FMLA, FLSA, HIPAA, unemployment, workers’ compensation) and familiarity with FCPA and SOX. Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills for analysis and reporting. Strong leadership, communication, and influence skills at all organization levels. High‑volume, detailed data‑quality work capability. Problem‑solving, analytical, and process‑improvement orientation. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and travel domestically. Experience working across time zones and cultures. Strongly Preferred Union‑environment HR leadership experience. Creative talent‑acquisition strategies. Talent‑management and organizational‑development expertise. Lean/process‑improvement certifications or use of tools such as 5S, value‑stream mapping, 5 Why’s, RACI, or Hosin Kanri. Technology proficiency, including social media. Education & Experience Minimum 10 years of HR generalist experience, at least 4 in a unionized manufacturing environment. Minimum 4 years in an HR management role driving business results. BA/BS in business or related field. Other U.S. Citizen.
