Overview
Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Dundee, KS, United States. Start date 09/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,508-$2,554. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients, including assessment and ongoing monitoring
- Monitor fetal status with continuous or intermittent fetal heart rate monitoring; respond to non-reassuring tracings and collaborate with the obstetric team
- Administer medications and manage analgesia/anesthesia support as ordered; assist with labor and delivery procedures, including cesarean delivery when needed
- Support newborn care and postpartum recovery; perform accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and ensure patient safety through strict adherence to established protocols
- Work with the multidisciplinary team and be prepared to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed for overflow patients

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas
- 2+ years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience
- Fetal monitoring class completed within the last 24 months; must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
- Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) units as needed
- Weekend requirements: every other weekend; On-Call: 2-3 shifts per month; Holiday rotation
