Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience within the last 3 years
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years
• Experience in General surgery
• Experience in Orthopedics, including total joints
• Experience in Neuro, including craniotomy and spine procedures
• Experience in Vascular surgery
• Experience in Trauma
• Experience with DaVinci robotics, including cardiac cases with arm movement and draping
• Attestation of PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• Attestation of PA State Police Check (PATCH)
• Other Regulatory Requirements

Assignment Details

• Rotating shifts include days, evenings, and nights
• Weekend and call requirements apply
• Weekend shifts may fall on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
• Call may be assigned on weekdays and/or weekends
• Weekend call may include Saturday 24-hour coverage from 7a to 7a or Sunday 16-hour coverage from 7a to 11p
• Additional Friday night shifts may be required
• No block scheduling
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• In-house call rooms are available if needed
