Our kitchen serves elevated American classics with bold Caribbean flavors in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. We're looking for a dependable, passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team.The RoleAs a Line Cook, you'll prepare and plate dishes to our standards during dinner, brunch, and late-night service. You'll own a station, work cleanly under pressure, and help keep our kitchen running smoothly through busy rushes.What You'll DoSet up, stock, and break down your assigned station for each servicePrepare ingredients and cook menu items to recipe and presentation standardsWork the line efficiently during high-volume dinner, brunch, and late-night shiftsMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace at all timesFollow all food safety, health code, and portion-control guidelinesCommunicate clearly with the kitchen team and expediter during serviceWhat We're Looking For1–2 years of experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen roleComfortable working a station in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchenKnowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safetyAble to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsReliable, punctual, and a strong team playerAvailability for evenings, weekends, and holidaysFood Handler's certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)What We OfferCompetitive pay of $21–$25 per hour, based on experienceShift meals and a vibrant, supportive team cultureOpportunities to grow and advance within the kitchenA prime downtown DC location, easily accessible by MetroThe Park at 14th is an equal opportunity employer.
