We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Assistant with extended functions to join our growing practice. Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Extended Functions

Assist the dentist during surgical and restorative dental procedures

Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)

Provide chairside support including patient comfort and education

Perform extended functions as allowed under California law, including placement and carving of restorative materials, impressions, and application of sealants and fluoride

Maintain accurate patient records and charting

Manage infection control protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Help with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed

Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment

part-time $21 - $30 per hour

Dental insurance available after 6 months of employment

Medical insurance available after 1 year of employment

Paid vacation: 5 days after 2 years of continuous service

Part-time: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and the first Saturday of the first two weeks of each month

Office Hours:

Monday: Closed

Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Saturday: By Appointment Only

Sunday: Closed

• Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license with extended functions certification required

Prior experience assisting in dental surgeries preferred; willingness to train the right candidate considered

Strong knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable with technology and dental software systems
