Property Groundskeeper & Maintenance Assistant

Location: Lake of the Ozarks – Bagnell Dam Area

Pay: $18–$20/hour

Schedule: Thursday–Monday, approx. 9:00 AM–4:30 PM (includes weekends)

A leading Real Estate & Property Development Company is hiring a dependable, hands-on Groundskeeper & Maintenance Assistant to support a portfolio of lake vacation rental properties. You’ll help keep the cabins and outdoor spaces clean, stocked, safe, and guest-ready. No maintenance experience required. We’ll train the right person.

This role covers our busiest guest days, Thursday through Monday, so you’ll have two weekdays off for appointments, errands, and enjoying the lake when it’s quiet. For the right person, a four 10-hour-day schedule may be an option. This position takes part in an on-call rotation about every second or third week, not every week.

What You’ll Do

Grounds & Outdoor Areas

• Keep decks, patios, docks, grills, fire pits, and outdoor spaces clean and guest-ready
• Empty trash and keep properties neat and presentable
• Stock firewood
• Inspect, clean, and maintain flotation devices and lake gear
• Move and set up portable and outdoor furniture between properties

Maintenance Support

• Restock supplies before guests arrive
• Handle simple upkeep such as light bulbs, filters, batteries, and smoke detectors
• Replace (not repair) small appliances or fixtures when something stops working
• Spot and report bigger maintenance or safety issues to our skilled technicians
• Keep tools, supplies, and the work truck organized
• Support the broader maintenance team on residential and commercial properties, turnovers, and projects when rentals are occupied

• Have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements
• Can lift up to 50 lbs and safely use ladders
• Can pass a background screening
