What You Will Do:

1. Prepare and cook meals with attention to quality, presentation, and speed, ensuring every dish meets Salt Hotel's high standards.
2. Follow existing recipes and presentation specifications, as well as contribute to the development of new creations, maintaining the unique dining experience our guests expect.
3. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and food preparation standards.
4. Assist in inventory management, ensuring supplies are well-stocked and fresh, and help minimize waste.
5. Work closely with other kitchen staff and the dining room team to ensure seamless preparation and delivery of food, enhancing the overall dining experience.
6. Participate in training opportunities to enhance culinary skills and stay current with food trends and safety regulations.

What You Will Need:

• Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably within a hotel or a high-end restaurant.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• A creative flair for food preparation and presentation, with a willingness to explore new culinary techniques and flavors.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple food orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, ensuring a collaborative atmosphere in the kitchen.
• Available to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, in line with hospitality industry demands.
