Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized care within the cardiac catheterization lab, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures, and ensuring patient safety through adherence to clinical standards. The position requires a team-oriented professional capable of managing STEMI or Vascular call responsibilities. Job Details Schedule: Days shift; 10 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Radiologic Cardiovascular Intervention Specialist (RCIS); minimum of 1 year of experience in a catheterization lab environment; location flexibility within a 50-mile radius, with no local candidates accepted; demonstrated experience with charting systems (Epic preferred), adult patient care, and interventional cardiac procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, peripheral vascular procedures, and managing patients requiring procedural sedation. Additional Information: Must have Cath Lab experience and be able to take call for STEMI or Vascular emergencies. The role involves supporting interdisciplinary teams such as physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy. The unit handles a daily census of 20-30 patients and may require float to similar units within the scope of practice.
