Predictive Maintenance Tech

Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Hourly Rate: $29.33 an hour. Location: Darien, Wisconsin. This is a 1st shift position with a rotating 12‑hour shift from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Responsibilities Conduct ultrasonic testing of equipment. Conduct thermography testing of equipment. Conduct oil analysis of equipment. Assist contractors in performing vibration analysis and annual thermography analysis of equipment. Train and conduct technicians on sheave alignment, laser alignment, sheave gauges, and belt tensioning procedures. Create reports and corrective work orders based on predictive testing results. Prioritize corrective work orders by equipment criticality and failure timelines. Coordinate with maintenance planners and supervisors on corrective actions. Create and maintain a test results database. Implement predictive maintenance practices across facility and departments. Create predictive routes and maintenance preventive maintenance (PM) schedules in the computerized maintenance management system. Load software and maintain computer systems for predictive maintenance processes. Ensure compliance with all OSHA and plant safety rules. Qualifications Experience conducting ultrasonic, thermography, oil, vibration, or related predictive maintenance testing. Ability to train personnel on alignment, gauge, and tensioning procedures. Experience with predictive maintenance data management and creation of PM schedules. Knowledge of OSHA and plant safety regulations. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance personnel and supervisors. Physical Demands Regularly stand, walk, sit, and use hands to manipulate tools and equipment. Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required. Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Must have adequate vision, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment. Work Environment Work exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious locations, extreme heat and cold. Potential risk of electrical shock.
