- Handle multiple bids per week and meet strict deadlines
- Complete accurate quantity take-offs per plans and specifications
- Create and coordinate project estimates, proposals, and bid documents
- Create accurate and detailed cost estimates for underground wet and dry utility projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Obtain and compare vendor and supplier pricing
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors and customers
- Additional duties include: ordering, scheduling, and bluestake
- Minimum 5 years experience in underground construction estimating
- Experience in Water, Sewer, Storm Drain, Dry Utilities and Streetlights
- Minimum 5 years experience working in Phoenix/Maricopa County area
- Strong knowledge of MAG standards and local supplement specifications
- Experience with software programs related to takeoff
- Bilingual: Spanish (Preferred but not required)
- Proficient in office software: Excel, Word, Adobe
- Ability to multi-task and good time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical-thinker and problem-solver
