Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Job Details

• Work in the Intensive/Critical Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting,
• Night shift schedule from 6:45pm-7:15am, three days per week,
• Every other weekend required,
• 36 hours per week on a 13-week assignment,
• Uses Epic EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS,
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient ICU RN experience required,
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required,

Additional Information

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans,
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions,
• Provide patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs,
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members,
• Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives,
• Comply with regulatory standards and practice governance model,
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
