Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont, United States. Start date: 08/10/2026 for a 16-week engagement. Weekly pay ranges from $2,902 to $3,025. Shift: 3x12-hour rotating (day/evening). Setting: hospital OR with cardiovascular/open-heart cases in a large, academic teaching environment. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,902–$3,025 per week Contract duration: 16 weeks Start date: 08/10/2026 Shift: 3x12-hour rotating (day/evening) OR assignment in a large, academic teaching hospital with cardiovascular/open-heart cases Bi‑weekly orientations on Mondays; no block scheduling On-call requirements: weekend call every 5 weeks and occasional weekday calls Responsibilities Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular/open-heart procedures, maintaining sterile technique and assisting the surgical team throughout cases Prepare and arrange required equipment, implants, and supplies; verify instrument counts and accountability Monitor patient status intraoperatively; coordinate with anesthesia and surgical team to optimize patient safety and outcomes Manage documentation in the Epic EMR and ensure accurate perioperative records Assist with patient positioning, specimen labeling, and labeling of implants and devices May be required to float to other OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.) to support patient care and unit needs Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and performance improvement initiatives Requirements Active RN license (state-specific for assignment) BLS required; CNOR preferred Minimum 2 years OR RN experience with recent cardiovascular/open-heart case exposure Demonstrated ability to scrub and circulate in complex cardiovascular procedures Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable) Prior travel experience required Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a rotating day/evening schedule; on-call and weekend coverage as described Willingness and ability to float to other OR suites as needed Benefits and Support Bi‑weekly orientations on Mondays Assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the travel period Clear guidance on schedule expectations and on-call requirements Credentialing and onboarding assistance aligned with the OR specialty #J-18808-Ljbffr
