Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2212.96 Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • Work weekend shifts in a Level III NICU on the 2nd Floor of the Main Hospital • 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week • No on-call requirements • Self-scheduling with floating as needed • Patient ratio of 2:3 • Able to attend deliveries including C-sections required • Minimum 2 years of hospital/specialty experience required • Level III NICU experience required • Experience with BCPAP and HFNC equipment required • Meditech and CPN documentation systems used; Meditech experience preferred • Required certifications: BLS, NRP • Active TX RN License required; temporary licenses will not be accepted • Dress code: Royal blue and/or white scrubs • No artificial nails, gel, or next gen nails permitted; nails must be clean and healthy • Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer • Body art should be covered whenever possible • Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings • Team player attitude preferred Facility: This facility features a Level III NICU providing specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns. The unit operates with a low patient-to-nurse ratio to ensure high-quality, individualized care and is equipped with advanced respiratory support technology. The facility utilizes modern documentation systems and supports a collaborative, team-oriented environment for nursing staff.
