Senior Accountant — 100% Remote

\n

Miami, FL-based technology company

\n

$110,000–$130,000 base + bonus

What You'll Be Doing

\n

\n

As a Senior Accountant, you'll play an important role in supporting the company's continued growth and helping maintain a scalable, accurate, and efficient accounting function.

\n

Responsibilities will include:

\n

• Own key areas of the month-end and year-end close process

\n

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation

\n

• Perform detailed balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations

\n

• Review and analyze accounting activity for accuracy and completeness

\n

• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting

\n

• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash-related accounting activities

\n

• Assist with revenue and expense recognition

\n

• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual transactions

\n

• Support external audit and tax requirements

\n

• Help strengthen accounting processes, controls, and documentation

\n

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology, automation, and process improvements

\n

• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Sales, and other teams

\n

• Assist with special projects as the company continues to scale

\n

\n

What They're Looking For

\n

We're looking for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

\n

Ideal candidates will have:

\n

\n

✅ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

\n

✅ 4+ years of progressive accounting experience

\n

✅ Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP

\n

✅ Experience with month-end close and financial reporting

\n

✅ Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience

\n

✅ Excellent Excel skills

\n

✅ Experience working with modern accounting/ERP systems

\n

✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

\n

✅ Excellent communication and organizational skills

\n

✅ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team

\n

✅ Experience in technology, SaaS, fintech, or another high-growth environment is highly preferred

\n

\n

CPA or public accounting experience is a plus, but not required.

\n

\n
