Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) will be an integral part of the cardiac care team, working in a fast-paced environment focused on adult and geriatric patient populations. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including scrubbing for interventional procedures and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and administration of interventional procedures.
• Provide quality patient care and monitoring before, during, and after procedures.
• Support physicians during catheterization procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation utilizing electronic systems.
• Participate in emergency response procedures as needed.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 4x10-hour rotating schedule from 06:30 to 17:00, Monday through Friday. The nurse will also be required to participate in weekend shifts, including on-call duties on Fridays through Mondays.

Contract Details

The duration of the contract is 11 weeks , with an expected end date no later than January 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or similar interventional setting required.
• Recent scrubbing experience in interventional procedures is essential.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Experience with equipment and documentation systems such as GE Innova IGS, Phillips, GE MacLab, EPIC, IVUS, and FFR is preferred.

• Watchman device implantations

Additional Information

Flexible scheduling options are limited, and designated scheduling requests should accompany the request for time off (RTO) at the time of application.
