WeLink Communications is seeking a motivated, competitive, and self-driven Business-to-Business (B2B) Outside Sales Representative to expand our presence in the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market .

This is a field-based outside sales and business development opportunity for a sales professional who is comfortable prospecting in person, meeting with business owners and decision-makers, generating new leads, managing a sales pipeline, conducting consultative sales presentations, and closing new business.

Outside Sales Representative Job Summary

As a B2B Outside Sales Representative , you will identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory. You will conduct face-to-face prospecting, cold outreach, business-to-business sales presentations, and consultative conversations with business owners, executives, and key decision-makers .

You will sell WeLink's business internet, wireless internet, connectivity, and telecommunications solutions , helping SMB customers identify reliable connectivity solutions that support their business operations.

This position is ideal for an entrepreneurial sales professional who enjoys hunter-style sales, territory development, lead generation, relationship building, and closing new business .

Outside Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct daily outside sales prospecting and business development
• Visit local businesses and meet with business owners, executives, and decision-makers
• Generate new leads through in-person prospecting, cold calling, networking, and other lead-generation activities
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and prospect database
• Conduct discovery conversations and needs assessments to understand customer business requirements
• Deliver professional and persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations
• Clearly communicate product features, benefits, pricing, value proposition, and competitive advantages
• Position WeLink's solutions against traditional cable, fiber, and telecommunications providers
• Use consultative selling and solution-based sales techniques to match products to customer needs
• Overcome customer objections and effectively communicate the value of WeLink's services
• Negotiate and close sales while working toward established sales quotas, revenue targets, and performance goals
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through closing and installation
• Maintain accurate prospect, customer, activity, and opportunity information in the CRM
• Track sales activities, appointments, opportunities, pipeline stages, and follow-up tasks
• Manage your own territory, schedule, appointments, prospecting activity, and follow-up
• Consistently follow up with prospects to move opportunities through the sales funnel
• Develop long-term business relationships that create opportunities for referrals, retention, and additional sales
• Work closely with sales leadership, customer service, operations, and installation teams to provide an excellent customer experience
• Stay informed about telecommunications, internet service, connectivity solutions, competitors, and industry trends
• Consistently meet or exceed sales objectives and revenue goals

Outside Sales Representative Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous field sales experience in B2B sales, outside sales, business development, territory sales, or account executive experience
• SMB sales experience strongly preferred
• Telecommunications, internet service provider (ISP), technology, wireless, cable, fiber, or connectivity sales experience is a strong plus
• Experience selling to business owners, executives, and decision-makers
• Demonstrated success with prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, appointment setting, pipeline development, and closing
• Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and sales funnels
• Experience using CRM software to manage leads, opportunities, customer information, and sales activity
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Confident and professional when conducting face-to-face sales presentations
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
